Toll! Gerade im wichtigen (oder sogar wichtigsten?) Zukunftsmarkt der Welt, in China, ist Samsung als Marke bekannt und beliebt. Und wer sich ein bisschen mit Marketing auskennt, weiß wie wichtig der Bekanntheitsgrad und Verbreitungsgrad einer Marke ist. Samsung steht in China also u.a. für hohe Qualität und gute Preis-Leistungsverhältnisse. Vom wachsenden Markenbewusstsein in China sollte Samsung wohl profitieren. Bei beliebten und bekannten Marken ist die Wiederkaufbereitschaft hoch, außerdem sind die Konsumenten bereit, einen relativ hohen Preis zu bezahlen. Für Samsung sieht die Zukunft sehr gut aus!

China Reports Samsung Is No. 1 Brand Samsung has topped the list of high-value brands in China, according to "China's 100 Best Consumer Goods Brand Research" conducted by the Brand Research Institute of Beijing University. The Korean conglomerate's brand value was estimated to have the highest standing at a total value of 44.7 billion yuan (US$5.4 trillion). The result of the review was published in the Dec. 9 issue of "PKU Business Review," the college's business administration magazine.
The Institute evaluated the value of domestic and international companies by conducting a survey on 50,000 residents of China's urban centers and analyzing each company's gross sales there.
Following Samsung, Haier of China (33.8 billion yuan) and Nokia (31.8 billion yuan) were selected. Other companies such as Shanghai Dazhong, Motorola, TLC, Yizi Dazhong, Sony, Hewlett-Packard and Lenovo also made the list. Among other Korean companies, LG was voted 48th.
