By adding 7 additional distribution agreements in Argentina, Chile, Columbia, Costa Rica and Peru, Freshwater instantly created a significant presence in these growing markets. Initially, our new distributors have concentrated on demonstrating the ability of its ELCE water activation technology to eliminate scale and corrosion in boilers, evaporative condensors and other refrigeration systems. As well as eliminating the cost and harmful use of chemicals, ELCE's water activation's elimination of encrustation buildup also increases energy efficiency in such installations. More recently, we have added a new Columbian based agent who has significant experience with industrial boiler systems who will concentrate on the many boiler installations in Columbia.

As rising energy costs and environmental matters become of greater and greater concern, the benefits of energy conservation are increasingly attractive to our customers. Cooling systems are even greater consumers of energy especially in warm weather locations and afford another area in which our distributors are making new contacts.

Our strategy is to also partner with local companies who specialize in different industrial sectors since ELCE technology has other capabilities beyond our important business advantages in heating and cooling installations. For example, ELCE ability to improve greenhouse crop productivity was recently announced. ELCE also has reported that ELCE water activation in shrimp farming installations has produced greater algae growth, the main food source for shrimp larvae. This, in turn, has resulted in superior bronchial development, increased length and weight and, most importantly an increased survival rate.

"Methods of treatment of a Bcl-2 disorder using Bcl-2 antisense oligomers" (EP Publication No. 1313514(A2); Inventors: Warrell et al.) claims compositions and uses of Bcl-2 antisense oligonucleotides such as Genasense over various dosing ranges and by multiple routes of administration that are known to be clinically active in patients with cancer.

Genta verkündet Genehmigung von zwei europäischen Schlüsselpatenten für Genasense®
BERKELEY-HÖHEN, NJ - 28. April 2009 - Genta verbanden (OTCBB: GNTA.OB), das heute verkündet wurde, dass das Europäische Patentamt beabsichtigt zu bewilligen, zwei Schlüsselpatenten bezog auf dem Company' Position des s-geistigen Eigentums auf Genasense® (oblimersen Natrium), Einspritzung.  

so kurz vor der Vorstellung auf der Krebs-Konferenz. Da kommt aber jetzt richtig
Schwung in die Sache.

Pharmaforschung zur Entdeckung eines neuen Wirkstoffes und dessen Zulassung etwa
800 Millionen US$ betragen können, ist es eine mögliche Strategie, sich auf Wirkstoffe
zu konzentrieren, die ein hohes Marktpotential haben. Ein hohes Markpotential haben
Volkskrankheiten wie Krebs und Herz-Kreislauf-Erkrankungen. Beispielsweise brachte
2002 der Umsatz aus den Therapiegebieten Herz-Kreislauf und Erkrankungen des zen-
tralen Nervensystems einen Umsatz von 57 Milliarden US-Dollar.

Dem hohen Umsatz eines Blockbuster gegenübersteht die Gefahr finanziell vom Erfolg
der Blockbuster abhängig zu sein. So bricht der Umsatz eines Medikamentes regelmäßig
ein, wenn das Patent nach 20 Jahren (durchschnittlich 8 bis 10 Jahren Vermarktungs-
zeit) abläuft. Beispielsweise trug Prozac im Jahr 2000 24% des Umsatzes von Eli Lillys
bei; als das Patent in 2001 auslief, fiel der Umsatz für Prozac von 2,2 Milliarden US$ auf
400 Millionen US$, weil Generika auf den Markt kamen, die denselben Wirkstoff preis-
werter vermarkteten. Auch kann es vorkommen, dass ein Medikament vom Markt ge-
nommen werden muss, wie im Fall von Lipobay.



Genta hat schon Ganite auf dem Markt und finanziert sich somit selbst.

Allein bei NASDAQ wurden heute über 80 Millionen Aktien gehandelt. Das muß etwas interessantes geschehen sein.
Sagt Mal,
Weiß jemand, wie viele Millionen Aktien das Unternehmen besitzt?  

 

Ich überlege mir gerade einzusteigen. Vielleicht mit 200 K für den Anfang  

Letzte Woche Donnerstag wurden ca.400Mio Aktien gehandelt,am Freitag nochmal so ca.300 Mio,
über die Aktienanzahl herrscht hier Unklarheit,bis zu 4 Millarden sind hier im Gespräch,aber selbst bei
einer solchen Anzahl wäre die Mk gerade mal 24 Mio
