Hartcourt Confirms That Shanghai Fiber-Based Broadband ISP Is `World`s First` @Family Broadband Networks Is the First Commercial Broadband ISP in the World Offering 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps Internet Access to Residential Customers

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hartcourt Companies Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: HRCT; Frankfurt: HCT), www.hartcourt.com, today responded to shareholder`s questions and offered further details about its joint venture partner, @Family Broadband Networks, which is an extension of the services currently being delivered by @Family Broadband Networks - Shanghai (www.shanghaifamily.net), the first commercial broadband ISP in the world offering 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps internet access to consumers.

The Company explained that there are five types of networks offering broadband Internet accesses throughout the world today:


(1) DSL (Digital Subscriber Loop): Connection speeds for DSL typically
range from 384Kbps to 1.544Mbps downstream and 128Kbps upstream. In
addition, a DSL line allows for one line to carry both voice and data
signals, and for the data part of the line to be continuously
connected, so users can talk on the phone line at the same time that
they are surfing the Internet. Example: Broadband offered by SBC
Telecom.
(2) Satellite: Hughes DirecPC offers high-speed Internet access using
DirecPC broadband satellite technology. At up to 400 kilobits per
second downstream, DirecPC is broadband Internet connectivity.
Example: Broadband offered by DirecPC and America Online.
(3) Cable Modem: Cable modem broadband technology offers speeds far
greater than dial-up phone modems and ISDN. Its upstream data
transfer speed is limited to 128Kbps. Example: AT&T @Home.
(4) Wireless: Next generation wireless (3G) and LMDS (Local Multipoint
Distribution Services) solutions are point to multipoint broadband
wireless systems operating in the millimeter-wave spectrum bands that
can be used to cost-effectively deliver voice, data, Internet, and
multimedia services. Wireless broadband is undergoing pre-commercial
field trials today. Example: Alcatel LMDS.
(5) FTTB (Fiber To The Building): With government funding support,
Shanghai became the first city in the world to implement a fiber to
the building (FTTB) backbone network covering the Shanghai
metropolitan region during 1995-1998. The Shanghai Infoport has since
become well known in Asia and leads all other cities in the world in
building out a 100% fiber-based broadband infrastructure network.


In June of 2000 a high-level forum called ``City Informatization in the Asia-Pacific Region`` was held in Shanghai. Speaking at the forum, which was jointly organized by the United Nations, China`s Ministry of Information Industry, and Shanghai Municipal Government, Mr. Samuel Chang, the CEO of ChinaCityNet and @Family Broadband Networks said, ``The Fiber To The Building (FTTB) technology is proving to be very cost-effective in Shanghai, a centralized controlled environment with high density apartment buildings. myc läuft ja alles daneben. Bin zumindest sehr froh, daß ich Hartcorut im Depot habe. Alles was dieses Jahr aufgebaut wurde, scheint nun nach und nach auch zu fruchten. China hat wieder ein Türchen bzgl. der TV-Freigabe geöffnet und es wird auch bald so kommen, daß Hartcourt im Kurs explodieren wird. Jetzt hängt alles nur noch von der Regierung ab und wie man sieht, haben sie in den letzten Wochen immer wieder kleine Signale zur Bereitschaft gegeben, in China endlich alles seinen Entwicklungs-Weg gehen zu lassen. Das macht mir persönlich verdammt viel Mut zum Nachkauf. Das gesteckte Kursziel von 50 E aufwärts nimmt langsam aber sicher Formen an.  

Das ist ja ne Menge Werbung von HRCT. Es mag ja stimmen, daß die in Shangai die ersten sind, aber weltweit bestimmt nicht.
Genauso schnelle Verbindungen sind in Deutschland für große Firmen schon länger Standard! Glasfaser-Standleitungen sind im Banken und News-Bereich (Fernsehen, Zeitungen) hier Standard. Und Consumer heißt noch lange nicht, daß das der kleine Endverbraucher ist, die können sich so etwas sowieso nicht leisten. Eine Vernetzung von Wohngebäuden halte ich zwar für machbar, aber aufgrund der hohen  Kosten in absehbarer Zeit für kaum realistisch.

Wo da etwas bei HRCT außer den News fruchtet, das sehe ich nicht.
Der Kurs geht seit langem fast nur noch runter und die Umsätze habe seit dem riesen Hype Ende letzten Jahres erheblich nachgelassen.
Eine Kursexplosion zu alten Höhen wird es nicht geben.
Dein Kursziel von 50€ halte ich für äußerst illusorisch!
Naja, vielleicht hast ja doch noch irgendwann Glück.

Ich habe schon eine Leidenszeit mit hrct hinter mir und ich sehe die aktie immer noch recht zwiespältig, auch wenn ich meine Position langfristig halten werde. Hartcourt ist ein sehr engagiertes Unternehmen was sich nach und nach stärker im Markt positioniert. Der Hype letztes Jahr war übertrieben, aber komischerweise hat sich hartcourt gerade nach dem Hype stark profiliert. Damit meine ich die Cooperationen mit diversien großen Unternehmen wie Yahoo und Mircosoft und das Akquiren von zukunftsträchting Firmen die bereits schwarze Zahlen schreiben. Alles in allem hat sich Hartcourt ein komplettes Netzwerk in China aufgebaut was viel mehr ist als ein Online-Borker (sinobull). Was mich stört ist das das Listing an der Nasdaq noch nicht vollzogen ist und das man, was dies betrifft auch nur spärliche Informationen erhält.
Wenn Hartcourt allerdings einige Ziele weiterhin so engagiert verwirklichen sehe ich Hartcourt schon bei alten Höhen, ausserdem ist ja jetzt November:-)

Redet Ihr von der Hartcourt, die mal bei 20 USD stand und jetzt nur noch bei 1,75 USD - wie hoch war der Split ? - und falls keiner war, wie kommt ihr auf so schrecklich realistische Kursziele ??

Ich hab HRCT seit März nicht mehr verfolgt.  

Nur das Handelsvolumen ist noch steigerungsfähig.

wie sich Hartcourt-Anleger gegenseitig Mut machen und von guten News und wahrscheinlicher Kursexplosion sprechen. Das geht nun schon eine ganze Weile so und ich habe mich zu meinen HRTC-Anfängen auch davon mitreißen lassen, aber langsam wird es albern!
Versteht mich nicht falsch. Ich habe selbst Aktien dieses Unternehmens im Depot zu liegen und glaube trotz aller Rückschläge in letzter Zeit(was den Kurs angeht), daß der Wert steigen wird. Nicht heute, nicht morgen, und vermutlich auch nicht mehr dieses Jahr - zumindest nicht entscheidend!
Meldungen über irgendwelche Pläne und die Partnerschaft an diversen Unternehmen spielen da kaum eine Rolle. Hartcourt ist nicht der Neue Markt, wo der Kurs auf solche News um 30% ansteigt(und am nächsten Tag genau so schnell wieder fällt), und das ist auch gut so!
Interessant wird es nächstes Jahr, wenn die IPO´s von SinoBull(erstes Quartal) und StreamingAsia(zweites Quartal) ins Haus stehen. Und ein paar Zahlen wären auch nicht verkehrt.
DANN, und nur DANN gestatte ich mir ein bißchen Euphorie auf steigende Kurse. Aber selbst dann sind 50 Euro doch böse hoch gegriffen(Ausnahmen bestätigen die Regel!). Freuen wir uns doch erst mal, wenn es langsam an die 5 Euro geht.
Somit wünsche ich allen noch viel Spass(denn darauf kommt es schließlich an) mit Hartcourt und drücke allen die Daumen.

Um es klar zu stellen: Ich gehe nicht davon aus, daß der Kurs sich innerhalb kurzer Zeit explosionsartig nach oben peitscht.

Was vielmehr mittlerweile zu erwarten ist, ist, daß der Kurs sich auf längere Sicht kontinuierlich nach oben entwickeln wird, so nach den Motto, 2 Schritte vor und 1 Schritt zurück.

Alle Weichen sind gestellt. Es ist nichtmehr von der Hand zu weisen, daß wir mit HRCT reich werden. Das hat mit Mut machen nichts zu tun, es ist einfach so, daß alle Fakten stimmen. Phan hat ganze Arbeit geleistet.

Also, wenn das nicht eindeutig und gut verständlich war, dann weiß ich nichts mehr.
Ein kräftiger Anstieg sei ja allen zu gönnen, aber Du übertreibst manchmal doch etwas zu heftig.
Also, erst überlegen was Du wirklich meinst, dann schreiben. Dann muß man auch nicht lange rumdiskutieren.

Wir können nichts anderes tun, als abzuwarten, das sollte doch klar sein. Laß mal das ganze Jahr Revue passieren. Jeder kann doch nachverfolgen, was hrct aufbebeut hat. Mir kann keiner mehr erzählen, daß sich dies nicht auf den Kurs auswirken wird.

Die letzten Weichen stellt die chin. Regierung und sie sind bereits dabei, den entgültigen Startschuß für einen kontinuierlichen Antstieg zu geben.

Hartcourt HRCT währe aktuell bei etwa 12 Dollar fair bewertet !!!!

Aktuell notiert Hartcourt bei 1,75 Dollar und hat eine Marktcap. von etwa 117 Mill. US-$.
Die Perle die Hartcourt als Beteiligungsgesellschaft besitzt ist aktuell eindeutig SinoBull.com (zu 48%), dies ist ein Finanz-und Online-Trading Portal und soll die Nummer 1 in China werden.
Beim bevorstehenden IPO im 2. Quartal 2001 rechnet man mit einem Wert von etwa 500 Mill. US-$, dies ist aus meiner Sicht her sehr konservativ gerechnet.
Ich erwarte mir das SinoBull nach dem Listing in einem Zeitraum von etwa 12 Monaten durchaus eine Marktcap. von etwa 2 – 4 Milliarden US-$ erreichen kann. Gehen wir nunmal davon aus das Sie etwa 2 Milliarden Marktcap. erreichen so ist der nach dem IPO immer noch im Besitz verbleibende Anteil an SinoBull etwa 666 Millionen US-$ Wert da HRCT weiter etwa ein drittel von SinoBull halten wird.
Daher müsste rein rechnerisch der Kurs von HRCT allein wegen des Anteils an SinoBull bei etwa 11,50 US-$ stehen.
Bei dieser einfach dargestellten Rechnung wurden alle anderen Beteilligungen die im Besitz von HRCT und alle die noch nicht ganz abgeschlossen sind nicht mit einbezogen!!!!
Aufgrund dieser Sichtweise sollte jedem klar werden wie stark unterbewertet HRCT aktuell ist und was für enormes Potential noch in HRCT steckt.
Es könnte im nächsten Jahr (2001) durchaus wieder zu einer Kursexplosion nach oben kommen, sollte es China im Jahr 2001 schaffen auch endgültig der WTO beizutreten, so wird dies der Kursentwicklung weiter starke Impulse geben.

sieht doch super aus heute. Vielleicht sehen wir noch die 3 Euro, wenn die Amis das gleiche wie wir veranstalten. Denkt daran, in 6 Wochen ist schon Weihnachten und ich möchte bis dato eine 10 sehen.

Gründe: -WTO-Beitritt mit einhergehender China-Rally.
-Positionierungen für Ipos.
-Neue Fakten über Mergerkandidaten zwecks GEM-Listing und Nasdaq-Listing von Hartcourt.
-Eine allgemeine Hype nach weicher Landung der US-Konjunktur sowie positiver Präsidentschaftsentscheidung (Gore oder Bush eh beide Mist).
-Wieder sinkende Erdölpreise und Euro-Wachstum um 4 % (Deutschland 2,7 %- 3 %).
-Erholung vom Euro (auch wichtig für USA wegen Us-Exporte)

Also, ich sehe die nächsten Monate eher rosig bis rosarot, denn die Talsohle ist nun endlich durchschritten.

 

und kann nur sagen: Kaufen bis zum geht nicht mehr.

Mittlerweile sieht aber auch wirklich alles sehr gut aus !!
