WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- The U.S. can't have a policy to bail out every failing financial institution in the country, Democratic vice-presidential nominee Sen. Joe Biden said Tuesday. In a CNBC interview, Biden was responding to a question about the government coming to the aid of struggling insurer American International Group Inc.. Biden also called for more transparency on Wall Street and "common sense regulatory oversight." Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama will also address the economy on Tuesday in a speech in Golden, Colo. |
