Peter Kausch, born in Germany in 1940, has over 40 years of experience in the energy sector. In 1969, he started to work in the energy sector for Rheinbraun AG (now RWE Power AG) in Germany. From 1973 to 1984, Peter participated in building uranium divisions in North America and Australia and organized the US-hard coal division. From 1984 to 2000, he was Chairman of Rheinbraun Australia Pty Ltd., Sydney. In addition to his activities with Rheinbraun, Peter was a board member of Uranerz GmbH (1987 and 1998), as well as a managing director (1993 to 1995 and from 1998 to 2000). Peter's activities in Canada included serving as a board member of Uranerz Exploration and Mining Ltd., Saskatoon, from 1992 to 1998, of Consol Energy Inc., USA (1992-1998) and of Energy resources of Australia, Sydney (1996-1999).Peter is a professor of International Management of Resources, at the Technical University in Freiberg, Germany and teaches students from all over the world in an English speaking MBA course on Resources and Environment. |
