Siemens, which has put forward the same plan to other firms, is willing to carry out this partnership with Abengoa on all the markets the latter is operational. This would result in Abengoa investing abroad some 94% of its budget up to 2014, where it already carries out three quarters of its total operations. At present, Abengoa runs the Solana 280MW solar power plant in Arizona, and it is building the 100MW Shams 1 thermal solar power plant in the Middle East. In addition, the Mojabe power plant in California will have a power of 250MW. |
